
Emergency Medical Patients: Assessment, Care and Transport (EMPACT)
EMPACT is a sixteen hour training program offering a practical student-driven approach to medical emergencies. The course format utilizes group discussion (small and large), case studies, and Socratic method to help both new and veteran practitioners alike better understand and refine the differential diagnosis of the medical patient.
Hands-on Training in EMPACT
This course directs participants to effectively use and rely on both critical thinking and decision making skills to effectively treat medical emergencies.

EMPACT is accepted by the National Registry of EMTs as part of the refresher process for recertification.
